This month begins with many countdowns in blog-land and ends with the celebration of Samhain; which for me means the beginning of a New Year! I personally have decided to begin this month with a challenge offered by Serenity at The Domestic Pagan. It's called Get Off Your Broom!
The challenge will last three months and begins officially tomorrow but I am sure it's never too late to join. Check it out and join in! I am excited to be a part of what looks to be a very supportive group of ladies (I think they are all ladies). Saturdays are our check in days but since many work on Saturdays, including me, I am posting this tonight... onward.....
Mini Challenge #1
Okay, I will take a "before" photo but it will not be published here.... at least not for now. Instead, I offer these two cuties as stand-ins... trust me.... there is virtually no difference...LOL!

Mini Challenge #2
The measurements were also taken but will remain locked in my jewelry box.... it was NOT pretty. My goal? I would like to lose 25 pounds during this challenge. Its not a lofty goal, but one I believe I can accomplish.
Mini Challenge #3
The Plan.... Okay... my plan will begin simply. No more fast food, no matter how convenient. I will pack my lunches for work and stay away from the evil cafeteria food. I will drink 8 glasses of water a day. I will begin exercising in the gym downstairs 3 times a week. This plan may change.... but this is how it begins....
To my fellow challengees....We Can Do This!

I love, love, LOVE the pictures you chose! I am not posting mine either until the end. The cat measuring really cracked me up!! Good Luck!
Good luck to you.
I'm in love with the first pic. I think I tried tickling the puppy... and the baby lol
I love you lunch packing plan. I do that (mostly because I'm cheap) and love it because it is so healthy.
Okay, nothing unique here, I love those pics! Very creative. Sending positive energy for your success.
Oneward! We have only unwanted pounds to lose!
Sounds to me like you have a great plan; good luck to you, and I hope you reach your goal... Or maybe pass it!
Yes, we can do it... We will do it, and we'll feel great for doing it! :)
That second pic of the cat looks like my two kittes not combined..each...lol You are so great for giving up fast food..that is such a difficult thing to do because it is EVERYWHERE! Good Luck and I am cheering you on!!
That cat makes me think of my own personal puffball (who is laying on my feet at the moment). I put out my starting weight but everything else is for the end. I might post the picture...maybe. We can do this!
It looks like you've made some good choices. Fast Food can really tempt you. I'm a huge fan of the food network and I"m going to be curbing that channel for the next 3 months.
I love your post! I love the photos you did post even though they are not of you! Your goal of not eating out is going to help you the most! That stuff is loaded with salt and fat and the combination is deadly! I will have lots of great things posted about easy recipes etc and tomorrow is Drop it Swap it so come by and see me there! YOU CAN DO THIS and you are beautiful!
Hah! Love the pics. I also love the "eye patch nun" in your Demotivational Friday blog. I actually recognized her since my mom used to watch her when she was on EWTN (she hasn't changed at all in over 15 years, except for the eye patch).
As a jumbo goddess myself I can understand not adding pictures. I hate pictures of myself and it was a huge leap of faith to add it and my measurements...UGH...but it was like a kick in the butt for me...LOL. Remember we are all in this together and WE WILL DO IT!!!
Love those pictures! I agree, WE CAN DO IT! I'm not sure if I will be posting my pics or not... still trying to get the nerve up LOL. Just started my own blog for this challenge. Good luck!
The photos made me smile. I don't do fast food because of the sodium. I may post a photo from the New Orleans Witches Ball, thow--the costume hides a multitude of sins.
