I have been trying to pretend for days now and last night, I finally had to come clean. I am sick. I went to urgent care and they gave me antibiotics and sent me home to rest. I always get the "You are a nurse and should know better!" talk. Pffft. Whatever. So it's nasal spray, cough syrup, Tylenol and antibiotics for me today . I am going to watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail because it will actually keep my attention long enough to rest in bed. Damn I hate being sick. I get all whiny and there's no one here to listen!

I did the same thing! I am not a nurse, but I HATE doctors so I always wait until I'm crawling in there.

Ger better soon! And that special trait seems to be something taught at nurse school - *every* nurse I know does something like that. ^^
Too true. Once upon a time (the 70s) I was also a nurse. Thank goodness for the local urgent med clinic--I won't go to the local hospital, dead or not.
