I apologize for not posting lately.... things have been hectic, to say the least. I have been trying for the last few months to gain some new direction at work and then BAM!!!......everything happened all at once! What started as a plea to be trained further on the computer side of nursing has blossomed into a position as Nurse Manager of a 42 bed unit! I am honored that my administration has deemed me capable of this position..... and a bit scared as well...lol. This certainly fits into the category of Be careful What You Ask For. I am loving the job... but it is mentally exhausting. I am trying to sleep extra to avoid a fibromyalgia flare-up during this stressful time. Stick around.... I am coming back slowly but surely.... meanwhile...
